Olivia Lauzon, LCSW, PMH-C
Hi, I’m Olivia Lauzon and I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and trauma therapist. I am licensed to practice in FL, CO, and WA. I specialize in perinatal mental health (trying to conceive, pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, & infertility), military and first responders, and sexual trauma. I am a certified perinatal mental health provider (PMH-C) through postpartum support international.
If you’re thinking to yourself, “well that is an interesting mix,” I hear you. I am, at my core, a trauma therapist, and am passionate about helping people heal their trauma. My specialties reflect me: a mother, a military spouse, and a woman passionate about the prevention of sexual violence.
Working with me
-
I consider myself a tough love therapist. Compassionate and kind, but I’m going to hold you accountable and be straightforward with you. Therapy can be uncomfortable, but that is where growth happens. I will always meet you where you are at, but my job is to challenge you while supporting you reaching your goals.
-
Healing is unique, and I tailor my approach to each of my clients to best fit your journey. I am trained and utilize EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), CPT (cognitive processing therapy), somatic therapy, narrative therapy, and interpersonal therapy.
Being in a relaxed body is important for healing trauma. I apply an attachment based approach, and assist you in calming your nervous system so what you do in session sticks outside of session.
-
Therapy is an intimate space! As we work together, my goal is to get to know you. I value genuine connection with my clients and bringing forth authenticity as I support you through your journey. Therapy with me is collaborative. You are the expert in yourself, and I bring my education and training to serve you.
As I am a fully telehealth practice, we will meet on my telehealth platform. It is a video and audio connection where we see each other face to face, just in the comfort of your own home.
“The willingness to show up changes us. It makes us a little braver each time.”
